Have you mastered your Intro Physics courses and crave extra challenge? You are invited to match wits with the School of Physics faculty. Every semester, we will post one problem on Classical Mechanics and one problem on Electricity and Magnetism. These problems are challenging but do not require knowledge beyond the first two Intro Physics courses (PHYS 2231 and PHYS 2232).
The names of students who submitted correct solutions by the deadline will be posted in the Hall of Fame sections for each semester. The first three correct submissions for each problem will earn prizes (this semester, it is The Feynman Lectures on Physics Bundle). All Georgia Tech undergraduate students are eligible.
Send your solutions in a PDF file (may be typed or hand-written on paper and scanned) to andrew.scherbakov@physics.gatech.edu. The deadline this semester is April 15th. Good Luck!
